New Here?
We’ve provided this guide if you want to get a preview of what you can expect when you visit Peace.
Our weekly worship services are the highlight of the week. Each time we gather is an opportunity to learn about our Savior, be assured of His forgiveness, and enjoy the peace that only He provides. We also realize that you are probably wondering what our worship experience is like. Will it be something you are comfortable with? Will you know what to do? To help you, we’ve put together this visitor’s guide. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
When can I come to Peace for worship?
Peace is happy to offer multiple worship opportunities for those with hectic schedules.
Throughout the year, there are also special worship services that take place in addition to our regular worship, especially in preparation for Christmas and Easter. Be sure to check out our calendar for updates.
What can I expect during a worship service?
True “peace” is not just information about what Jesus did to save sinners. It is also the powerful message by which God works faith in our hearts and transforms our lives. Therefore, Lutheran worship places the gospel (the message of peace) in central focus in an order of service called the liturgy. In the message and meal (Holy Communion), in specially selected Scripture readings, and in carefully crafted songs, prayers, and creeds, the liturgy proclaims peace through Jesus from start to finish.
At Peace we strive for worship that is…
Come join us. We will work hard to make sure you feel welcome. But we will also tell it like it is – helping you come face to face with your living and loving God.
Are my children welcome in worship?
Sometimes parents (and even churches) can think that church is not a place for children. At Peace, we’re convinced that nothing could be further from the truth. We want children in church worshipping with their families and learning about Jesus’ love.
Why?
We realize that, especially at first, having children in church can be a challenge for parents. To help, we also offer a parents’ room, equipped with “practice pews” and a television with a live-feed of the worship service. There are also children’s activity aids in the information nook as well as a number of Christian symbols/visual aids located throughout the church building. Feel free to ask a pastor for more information.

God bless and keep you!
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100
