Meetings
Meetings are on the fourth Monday of each month at 10:00 am, unless otherwise notified.
Purpose
OWLS provides a wonderful opportunity for great Christian fellowship among WELS affiliated church members ages 55 and older from both Washington and Dodge Counties.
Activities
Meetings may include a speaker, day trips, or other planned activities, combined with a devotion and a lunch. Some of these activities have included
- a trip to the Green Bay Packer stadium and Hall of Fame
- a boat trip off the shores of Green Bay
- a trip to Drury Theater in Chicago
- an annual Christmas party
- a visit from “Martin Luther and his wife Katie”
- educational presentations related to financial planning and identity theft.
Recently the OWLS have also had a presentation by Missionary Josh Martin and his wife Katie, about their life in Germany as the European Civilian Chaplain, and a former Dodge County Sheriff discussed his son’s tour of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
