Wednesday’s in the Word

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD

In the book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul was inspired to write: this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).

BOTF – Commitment Sunday

Commitment Sunday – Nov. 13

Peace members are invited to return their commitments the weekend of November 13th.  These commitments enable our leadership to plan for our upcoming expansion construction and financing.

We want our Peace family to prayerfully consider their gifts so commitments can be turned in anytime during the campaign which extends through December 2024.

Commitments can also be submitted online through our Building on the Foundation Webpage.

BOTF – Time and Talents

Time and Talents

As we look forward to beginning construction, we know that some members are interested in volunteering their time and donating materials or labor.  Now is the time to let us know if you are interested in donating your time or talents to our expansion.

Every little bit is helpful and will help offset the costs of construction.  We ask that interested members complete our Time and Talents Survey.  Please reach out to Mr. Jeff Feutz with any questions.

Building on the Foundation Campaign

Building on the Foundation Campaign
We are launching our school expansion campaign this weekend under the theme, Building on the Foundation. Starting this week and for the next five weekends we share a video segment after the church service.  Print materials will be available for people as well.  Each weekend will have a special theme tied to our campaign.

  • Oct 16 – Vision – Our overall plans and campaign goals
  • Oct 23 – Faith – The foundation of our ministry and why we need to expand
  • Oct 30 – Family – Growing and inviting people to join our Peace family
  • Nov 6 – Future – Preparing students for their eternal future in heaven
  • Nov 13 – Commitment – Placing our commitments before the Lord

Feel free to reach out to Principal Washburn, our Pastors, our Committee Chairman, Mr. Sol Leitzke with any questions about the expansion or the campaign.  Check out our website for more information.

PLS Expansion Update

School Expansion Update –
Our committee has been working on finalizing the construction and engineering plans.  We are determining mechanicals, furnishings, and finishes.  At the same time, we are working to prepare for a capital campaign launch the weekend of October 16.  This will provide Peace members the opportunity to prayerfully support the expansion project. We are excited to share that groundbreaking is tentatively scheduled for the beginning of March 2023.  CLICK HERE for a short video presentation.
