It’s never too early to mark your calendar for this elegant evening. Peace Lutheran Church will be holding an Advent by Candlelight for all women of the congregation, and their female family members, friends, and neighbors, on December 1st beginning at 4:30 pm in the Gathering Space & Sanctuary.
There is no charge for this event, but there are opportunities to volunteer and help make this a beautiful evening. This is a wonderful evening of music, fellowship, and time in God’s Word to help you prepare your hearts for the Advent season before the holidays get into full swing! This year, we’ll begin our time together with some fellowship and some of our favorite appetizers and foods in the Gathering Space. We’ll be looking for people to share their favorite recipe and a sample of their favorite holiday dishes. After these snacks and fellowship, we’ll move into the Sanctuary for a special candlelit service to set our hearts and minds for the Christmas season. Plan to join us, and invite your friends to come along as well! Questions or interested in volunteering? Contact Julie Ehlers.
Thank you for attending the marriage enrichment event on Nov. 12. We are interested in your feedback: https://form.jotform.com/223195353520148
WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD
In the book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul was inspired to write: this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).

Our Peace ministry team is making a concerted effort to keep in contact with our college-aged students. We’d very much like to know where your son or daughter might be attending school this year.
Please take a moment and fill out this short form. Once we have your student’s contact info, we’ll put it on our college contact list, which means they’ll receive encouragement from our staff, occasional updates about their home church, and even a couple gift cards
Construction began on the nine classroom addition on Wednesday, March 15th. Check out the gallery of pictures that will archive our construction progress.
Look for more details soon for a groundbreaking ceremony.
Peace members are invited to return their commitments the weekend of November 13th. These commitments enable our leadership to plan for our upcoming expansion construction and financing.
We want our Peace family to prayerfully consider their gifts so commitments can be turned in anytime during the campaign which extends through December 2024.
Commitments can also be submitted online through our Building on the Foundation Webpage.
As we look forward to beginning construction, we know that some members are interested in volunteering their time and donating materials or labor. Now is the time to let us know if you are interested in donating your time or talents to our expansion.
Every little bit is helpful and will help offset the costs of construction. We ask that interested members complete our Time and Talents Survey. Please reach out to Mr. Jeff Feutz with any questions.
Feel free to reach out to Principal Washburn, our Pastors, our Committee Chairman, Mr. Sol Leitzke with any questions about the expansion or the campaign. Check out our website for more information.
