OWLS Meeting – May 18 @ 10am at Good Shepherd
The May 18th meeting of the Dodge-Washington OWLS is scheduled to take place at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd congregation in West Bend. Pastor Peter Schlict of Good Shepherd will speak about the Latvian Mission. After our business meeting, we will share a potluck meal. Please bring a dish to share. LWMS Spring Rally – Update and Convention
On Saturday, April 25, members from Peace attended the LWMS Spring Rally held at St. Lucas in Kewaskum and co-hosted by Zion in Allenton. Participants learned more about the upcoming 63rd Annual LWMS National Convention, scheduled for June 25–28, 2026, at Monona Terrace in Madison. Registration is open to all WELS members and can be completed online at 60.lwms.org. Several members from Peace are planning to attend and serve as volunteers in a variety of roles.
The featured speaker, Mr. Brian Urbanek, founder of Goldwing Productions LLC, shared highlights from his work around the world. Using photos and video clips, he recounted personal experiences meeting fellow Christians across many cultures, offering an inspiring glimpse of how God’s Word brings saving faith to people in diverse settings. His company produces the monthly WELS Connection videos. Mr. Urbanek also has a personal connection to our congregation, as his parents are members at Peace.
