OWLS Meeting – Feb. 23rd @ 10am
The February 23rd meeting of the Dodge-Washington OWLS will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Peace congregation. OWLS members will be able to participate in various games of their choosing. In addition, we will once again participate in a service project called “Operation Christmas Child” by filling shoe boxes with toys, Christian materials, and a variety of useful everyday items to be sent to needy children throughout the world. Following our business meeting, a potluck meal will be served, Members are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Lutheran Pioneers – Feb. 21, 2026
Peace Lutheran Pioneers are meeting on Saturday, February 21 @ 10:00 am to make pine cars. Cars can be entered into the Lutheran Pioneers International Pine Car Derby held in Watertown on April 11. This year is the 75th anniversary of Lutheran Pioneers, so the Pine Car Derby is open to all parents and alumni of Lutheran Pioneers, too! All boys and girls ages 3rd-8th grade are welcome to attend the car making session at Peace, even if they haven’t come to Pioneers before. RSVP to Pastor Hanson so we have an idea of how many cars to purchase: jhanson@peacehartford.org.
Everyone Outreach – Feb. 7, 2026
If so, you’re not alone!For this reason, Peace is participating in an exciting new program called Everyone Outreach. The program will help us build a culture of outreach so that every ministry and every member is encouraged and equipped to reach the lost in our community.We’re going to kick off our Everyone Outreach program with a workshop on February 7th, from 9 am to 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall (downstairs). Lunch will be provided!We encourage every member of our congregation to attend the workshop and participate. In fact, the more members that attend, the more likely it is that our culture shift will be successful!
