OWLS Meeting – Aug 24, 2026 SOTH
The next meeting of the Dodge-Washington OWLS is scheduled to take place on Aug. 24 at 10:00 am at Shepherd of the Hills congregation in West Bend. Our guest speaker is Amy Hackman who represents Aurora Health. Amy will speak on the topic of dementia. A potluck meal will be served after the business meeting. Please bring a meal item to share. Sunday Bible Explorers Registration
Our Sunday School team has been working hard this summer to rethink how we teach and encourage our little lambs on Sunday mornings. Introducing Sunday Bible Explorers, our new and improved program for kids in 3K (potty trained, please!) through 4th grade! This year, lessons will be organized into groups focusing on a central theme, ranging from 3 to 6 weeks. Every Sunday will include songs, crafts, games, and of course, learning about Jesus! Sunday Bible Explorers will meet Sunday mornings from 8:45 – 9:45 starting on September 13.
Attention Jesus-loving High Schoolers – We’re also looking for high school volunteers to help us on Sundays! If you love working with younger kids doing crafts or playing games, this is a great way to get involved at church and fill volunteer hour requirements. Please contact Julie Ehlers by August 20th if you’re interested in helping!
LWMS Brat Fry – Sept. 13
On Sunday, September 13th, Peace Mission Society will host a brat fry from 9:45 am (after Bible Class) until 11:30 am. The menu will include brats/hot dogs, chips, & homemade cookies/bars. A special door offering will take place after services on Sept. 10-13. All donations will benefit Branch Lutheran Schools (BLSH) in Haiti for them to provide food, water, teacher salaries and other needs for 1,600 students. Help share God’s peace in Haiti.

Dinner hall opens at 6pm with Music, Appetizers and Auction with the meal being served at 7pm or later, once all golfers arrive.

The PLS Tuition Assistance Golf Outing is the sole fundraiser dedicated to supporting our Tuition Assistance Fund. This helps make a Christian education accessible to all children. We invite you to join us for this special event and can’t thank you enough for your support.
The day will include an afternoon of golf, followed by dinner and a lively auction—all for a great cause! Join us for any or all events of the day.
