On Saturday, January 31, 8:00-10:00 am we’ll be hosting a Men’s Breakfast. All men (members of Peace and friends of Peace) are invited. We’re going to kick off our Everyone Outreach program with a workshop on February 7th, from 9 am to 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall (downstairs). Lunch will be provided!

Advent is the season of waiting. Just like the world waited for the birth of the Savior, we are still waiting for Him to return. As you prepare to celebrate his birth, and look forward to that last day, here is a devotional for your spiritual growth. The last four Sundays of the Church Year are designated as the season of End Time, a season unique to the WELS. The focus of the season is fulfillment of Christ’s promises and encouragement for the Church of the End Times. We live in the last age of this earth, and in this season, Jesus wants us to remember his promise, “Behold, I am coming soon!” The season prepares the Church for these latter days by encouraging faithfulness to the Word, mindfulness of the judgment, watchfulness for Christ’s coming, and joyfulness in Christ’s reign.
On each Sunday, the Church prays that God would bestow on her a characteristic necessary for the End Times Church:
